Hello Lewis

 

If you want to know whether Active directory installation is proper, please follow below mentioned steps

 

Check the SRV records in DNS server.

After you installed Active Directory, DC will register SRV records in DNS

 

Use net share command to verify the SYSVOL folder

 

Verify database & log files

NTDS.DIT, edb.*,Res*.log

 

Verify below mentioned active directory objects like users, computers & foreign security principles are created in ADUC
