I recently read an article about the faculty of some laptop to increase their performance through an external graphics card. Given that I have a dated laptop, I was wondering how that could work. I am a huge gamer and a graphic boost will be more that welcome on that system. Can I have more information on that please?

Hello,

Laptops are for lightweight job, so they don’t come with any graphics card by default but there’s port available for installing a graphics card. However, laptop graphics cards cost more than that of PC.

If you want to have a graphics card for your laptop, first of all, decide which graphics card you’re going to use. Radeon R7 M200 series cards are quite good laptop but GTX GeForce GPU is also available for the platform.

Before installing, make sure that your power supply and charger can handle the power consumption of your GPU. Otherwise, your machine will go down very soon.

If you’re so serious gamer, then desktop will be the right choice. Laptops are with lower hardware power and for lower usage but desktop is fully compatible for master usage.
