I am a Kaspersky internet security Antivirus user. For the proper protection of my computer I need to update the antivirus. But I do not know how to update this Antivirus. Now I need the update procedure of this antivirus. This is most important for my computer 's protection.
First you have to check that your Antivirus is registered or not. If not then buy its premium membership or download the registered one, after registration. Update it to latest version. So it can work accurately. To update the Kaspersky Antivirus you have to make sure that your antivirus is registered and it is fully protected to your system.
To update your Kaspersky anti virus first you go to the Start menu bar on the right side and click on the icon of Antivirus. Right click the icon or system tray and you will see the option of open Kaspersky antivirus or something like that. Click on that option. After that choose the option Live update which usually in the right side of the bar. You must have the fastest internet access, so you can update the software. After choosing the live update, read the instructions and keep clicking on the button of next and there will be a time, when it will ask you what kind of updates you want to do. Mark all the updates option and download the updates.
After the completion of downloading you will be asked to reboot your system to add these updates. After doing choose the option of auto update so that you do not have to do this every time but the Antivirus gets updated itself when ever you get connected the internet.
Follow the procedure below to update your kaspersky antivirus application:
First you will need to run the Kaspersky Anti-Virus. In case the application was not launched and in the right bottom corner of your computer screen, then you will not be able to see K icon, and therefore you will need to go to Start on your computer, and then click on All Programs, and then choose Kaspersky Anti-Virus followed by Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
Next you will the Kaspersky Anti-Virus main window, there you will need to locate the update tab and then click on it to start the update process.
Note that your computer should be connected to the internet for the process to be successful.
Wait till the update finishes.
