Unable to save template as text file

I can save the other templates in the group as a text file. However, I am receiving an error when I try to save one file. The error is, “unable to save your template as a text file”. What is causing this? How can I fix this error? Please help.

Hi,

If you want normal template save to text file then simply open this template in their compatible software. When opened text matter in writing format then copy these text with help of mouse. Open your text editor and past your matter here with help of mouse. And simply save this file as text format

When you use “global template as manager”, Make sure that you use right path for saving file.

So, Normally select and copy text by mouse in any way and paste it in text editor. Then save it.

Hello Jennifer Harris,

It depends with the information that the template is holding, because may be the information it has cannot be saved as text file, or it cannot be converted into text file.

Just check the content of the template, in case it contains information like images or has some videos then it cannot be saved using the text format, and therefore you will need to choose another format that suits it, which when you save the file with it you will be able to open later without any problems.
