Unable to open Encrypted Files in XP after Reinstall

Dear friends

I have some files in my one partition F: which are encrypted by the methods of Windows XP. To encrypt data: "Right-click on any folder and choose advance and click encrypt contents to secure Data". I have some problem with Windows XP, which is installed on C: Partition. I decided to format the partition C:. But after reinstalling Windows, when i try to open, move or copy the encrypted files, I got the error "Access Denied: file is encrypted or read only, unable to decrypt". I have tried "Elcomsoft EFS Data Recovery" but unable to decrypt the files.

Hy,

There are some software for encrypting and decrypting in Windows XP. I recommend you to use this type of software to get your solution. In my views “Winrar” is the best software for making a folder into a Zip or RAR by using compressing method. It saves your computer space and it prevents your file from virus. Here are the following the steps to install Winrar in your PC.

 

• At first download the “Winrar” latest version in your PC
• Then double click on ‘winrar.exe”.
• Then press in “install”, then press “next”, then press again “next”
• Now select “finish”.
• After finish installation you can extract any compressed zip file by the help of Winrar.
