Unable to open attachment in Outlook

Hi Renee Wright,

This error could always occur because the attachments you are going to open  might be harmful or infected with virus.  

The email attachment will be detected by the Outlook Express to be unsafe.  

This detection is enabled in your default setting. When the virus protection has enabled internet will use by the Outlook Express to categorize the file as unsafe, can't be downloaded and permission to access the file is denied.

     If you are sure of your attachment to be safe and free from virus,  you have to follow this option:

• Open the Outlook Express
• On the menu look for the tools and hit Options.
• From the Security Tab open it and clear the Option: " Do not  allow attachments to be opened or to be saved which could be a potential virus. Mark the box under Virus protection by checking it. And hit OK. 

* You have to remember that before downloading or saving any file have it scan first before you opening it.
