I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit, installed with Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 and using Mozilla Firefox. I tried installing cFosSpeed and got this error below. Anybody else experiencing the same problem?

C:WindowsSystem32feclient.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

This falls under compatibility issue. We need to ensure that we are installing a compatible program to the Operating System version we are using. This error only occurs when the program version installed does not match to the operating system installed on your computer.

To verify the program version installed Click "Start," then click "Control Panel."Double-click "System." Or right click on My Computer and click "Properties.

My Computer and click Properties.

"Check under "System." If you have a 32-bit Windows XP, it shows Professional version. Hence, If you are running 64-bit Windows XP, it should show "Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64."

Windows Experience Index

Now to verify if the program installed is compatible with 32 or 64 bit version, check under System also and look for lines which starts in “Kernel”. x86_64 is compatible with 64 but Operating System and i686 is compatible with 32 bit version. As long as it has “I” at the beginning, it is compatible with 32 bit version.
