Unable to get my software opened

I am a new computer user. I need some help for my recent problem. I want to open my installed software but it can not be opened. I had tried to open from desktop shortcuts than it shows a open with window. I tried from start menu, same problem occurs there also. It also says rundll32.exe file missing. I can not figure what the problem is.

Please give me the idea about the problem as well as the solution of the problem.

Hi dear Sam,

Can you tell me  the windows or the operating system is how much old? The file you named is a system file. The system files are too much important for computers. A single file missing can be vital problem as yours. This problem is occurred due to virus problems or anyhow you delete the mentioned file. Virus can affect this file which makes it unable to execute. You better do the installation of operating system in your computer.

It will remove your problem completely. It there is any problem with installation than you may try to restore the system using the system restore option. For doing so, go to start menu. Than all programs; in all programs you find accessories, in this menu you find system tools and in the sub menu of system tools you get system restore. Try this to restore your computer in previous condition by choosing a system restoring point. This will restore your system to earlier date’s condition in which your computer was ok with all programs.

Hi, first update your windows by visiting the site here. Uninstall all software one by one, than install again. Install antivirus software and run at least once in a week. Delete all temporary files. Do all the things at least once in a week, your computer will work faster and will safe.
