Ubuntu Rackspace Cloud Server Error

I cannot apply the rules of iptable with Ubuntu Rackspace cloud server.  I am getting an error message which says that ‘it cannot able to start the table filter.’ Please help anybody to solve the problem. I will be thankful for all types of help and support.

Ubuntu Rackspace Cloud Server Error

Hello Mildred,

Can you please write the error as it appears on your terminal or error window? I have searched that on Ubuntu forums but without the exact error message i am not able to fix it. At the moment i can only assume that your iptables.rules file is incongruent with the kernel module you are using. You can also use a little more detail of the problem. What is that exactly what you are trying to do with iptables and what step was problematic for you?. I have found more on this forum. Also, providing a screenshot in problem reporting helps a lot. It makes problem identification lot more easier and accurate.
