Ubuntu Linux Network not connected

Hello,

I recently bought a RealTL8188CU wireless LAN adapter.

It works perfectly in Windows but in Ubuntu Linux it detects the network but does not connect.

What could be the problem?

Anyone could help me?

This device can be installed on a computer that is running on Windows 2000, Windows XP 32-bit and 64-bit, Windows Server 2003 32-bit and 64-bit, Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit, Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit, Windows Server 2008 R2, Mac OS X 10.4/10.5/10.6, or Linux kernel 2.6 platform. Check if you are using the version of Linux that is compatible with this device.
