[TSMP] Terminal Server Management Pack cannot display Windows 2008 R2 server

I used the Terminal Server Management Pack (v. 6.0.6278.22) to monitor my Windows 2008 R2 server with terminal services, but the server does not appear in the MP.

Is this problem caused by MP not supporting Windows 2008 R2 server?

Please advise.

Microsoft Windows Terminal Server Management Pack for Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 system requirements:

  • Windows 2000

    • Windows 2000 Advanced Server
    • Windows 2000 Server
    • Windows 2000 Service Pack 4
    • Windows Server 2003
  • Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 required

I think you are right. This version of the application is pretty much not compatible with your Windows 2008 R2 server.

You might want to change to another version that is compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2.

Or you can just format your hard drive and replace your operating system with any of the compatible versions listed above.

The status of your server will stay like that until you upgraded Terminal Server Management Pack to its latest version that is compatible with your operating system.
