Trp media converter crashes on Windows 8

I use TRP media converter to convert TRP files to mpeg and flv video files.  The converter now crashes when launched ever since I upgraded my OS to Windows 8.  Is there a work around or patch for this?  Thanks.

Trp media converter crashes on Windows 8

 

Hi there

I read your question and I understood the problem. But I’m afraid that there is no solution for overcome this problem since windows is a touch based OS and still TRP media converter is not able to come up with a compatible version for windows 8. So you have to wait for some wile so obviously they will come up with a latest version.

Trp media converter crashes on Windows 8

Did you try reinstalling the converter? Remove the recent software driver and then download from the Windows 8 AppStore website below:

http://www.bing.com/search?q=windows8appstore

After the downloading process, reinstall with this new version and run it.
