I have heard about the recently released Toshiba Portege Laptop. Can someone please tell me the new features that Toshiba is introducing to the users of this new model?Â

Z930 is the newest Portege ultrabook that Toshiba introduced this June. Portege claims that the 2.5- pound and 0.63-inch thick Z930 is the world’s lightest and thinnest laptop. It has a 13-inch non glossy screen. It runs with Intel Ivy Bridge processors. Despite its light and thin design, this ultrabook has an amazing high efficient cooling technology, 12 GB of DDR3 memory and up to 512 MB SSD storage.
The smart and protective features are comprised of the fingerprint reader, multiple-level password and backlit keyboard with a spill-resistant membrane underneath. It comes with a built-in microphone, stereo speakers, webcam, WiFi, RGB and HDMI, SD card reader, three USB ports, and 1 GB Ethernet port. The case has a honeycomb structure and made of magnesium alloy.
There are different models of the Toshiba Portege laptop and one is the Toshiba Portege Z30-A1301. The Toshiba Portege Z30-A1301 laptop ships with Microsoft Windows 7 Professional and runs on Intel Core i5-4300U 1.9 GHz processor, 8 GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4400 GPU, and 128 GB SSD-type hard drive. It supports 802.11n (2.4+5 GHz dual band) for Wi-Fi connection. It weighs 2.6 pounds.
It has 13.3-inch widescreen display at 1366 x 768 native screen resolution. Touchscreen support is not included. Standard battery rundown time is around 10 hours and 19 minutes. Here are the pros and cons. For the pros: it offers long battery life with solid performance; offers dual pointing devices; has built-in fingerprint reader and other security features; and offers plenty of port selection.
For the cons: the 128 GB SSD storage offers limited storage capacity and no touchscreen support.
