Hello.

I have a question about Thunderbird.

Every time it asks for the passwords of my accounts (gmail, hotmail) in order to sign in.

I'm running Thunderbird 2.0.0.14 on Windows XP.

How can I stop it?

Every time, I choose Save Password but every time it asks again.

I would appreciate your help.

If Thunderbird does not seem to remember your password even if you already saved it and eventually keeps on asking you every time you login, try deleting your saved password.

  1. Click Tools.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Click Passwords.
  4. Click View Saved Passwords.
  5. Click Show Passwords.

The next time you access Thunderbird and it asks you for the password, enter it, and then check the checkbox to save the password. You may also try checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like Norton Utilities or PC Tools Performance Toolkit.
