Hi,

I get an error message 1722 when I try to upgrade from Reporter 8.2 to Reporter 8.3. It happens on the Windows XP Operating System. I am trying to looking for the best solution to fix this issue but unable to find proper resolution. I would be grateful to you for any assistance. Thanks.

Hi Michael,

To resolve this installation error follow the below steps:
1) Click 'Start', Click 'Add/Remove Programs'
2) Check for 'Microsoft Office 2003 Primary Interop Assemblies' is installed
3) Uninstall the 'Primary Interop assemblies' manually
4) Restart the system after the uninstall process is completed
5) Update your system through Official Microsoft update website
6) Restart the system after the system is updated
7) Install ThermaCAM Reporter, Click 'Next' in the ThermalCAM Licensing Wizard

If you are updating ThermaCAM Reporter 8 or installing it for the first time, check that your computer meets the requirements. ThermaCAM Reporter 8 supports Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 and Windows XP Service Pack 2. It requires Intel Pentium 4 or faster processor, 512 MB RAM, 300 MB free space, 1024 × 768 minimum screen resolution, and internet connection for installing updates.

ThermaCAM Reporter 8 supports the following Microsoft Office versions:

  • Microsoft Office 2000 Service Pack 3
  • Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 3
  • Microsoft Office 2003 Service Pack 2

If you verify that your computer meets the requirements, try to uninstall any previous version before installing the new version. Also, make sure you are using an administrator account when installing the program. This will not install on non-admin user accounts.
