Hallo Jhon,

I guess there is an open source virtual tape windows counterpart that you can get from some of these open source sites online. Therefore, if you need to setup the MHVTL in Windows Server 2008 you will just need to check online for a version that is compatible.

Regards,

Nicke

Dear John,

You need to download driver first of all to run MHVTL on your Windows 2008.

I suggest you can find out the supporting driver from those available on the open web sources e.g. Google search.

All other help related to setting up MHVTL can be found on online discussion forums at http://mhvtl-a-linux-virtual-tape-library.966029.n3.nabble.com/ – Community Forums.

Hope it works for you!
