Is there any software for doing this ???

Hi All,

I have a Lenovo T61 and I want to know if there is software that could show me how large is my Ram and it could tell me if I still have an extra slot without opening my computer?

Can anyone help me ?

Hi Camwynn,

Yes there are Software's that can give you detailed information about your system.

You could try out "Hirens Boot cd", its an all in one software pack that has utility Software's

you can use to read the temperature of your processor, to read your RAM and full

detailed information about your pc status.

You can also check your RAM and usage in your task-bar manager.

Hello Camwynn,

There many kind of software that helps you check if you want to know memory information and its slot use. We use this software called CPUZ that has capabilities to determine CPU, Cache, Mainboard, Memory, SPD and Graphics.

You can download it with this URL: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Info/CPU-Z.shtml#download and size of only 2.15MB.

After installing the CPUZ software open it then click on the SPD tab and Select the slot that you want to know.
