Is there also a battery life extender mode on acer?

Hi, I plan to replace my Samsung laptop with Acer but I’m quite apprehensive on getting another brand. Is there also a battery life extender more on acer? Samsung has this feature to protect its battery from overheating or overcharging. If I download a software like the one I’ve mentioned, would it be compatible with all brands? Thanks, it would be great to have options.

You can also select the battery life extender from you laptop. Go to start up then  Programs / Acer / settings / power management and from here you can turn on battery life extender.
