I have a Lenovo laptop, and I’m using it for approximately two years. Today, when I tried to run a DVD drive in it, it is not working in it, and when I placed the same DVD in another device it is running in that device, and no error is faced. This error is occurring randomly, and no changes are performed by me. How can I fix this ‘Lenovo DVD drive, not working’ error?

The Solution Of ‘Lenovo DVD Drive, Not Working’ Error

The CD drive can stop working because of multiple reasons. Some of them are-

• It can happen because of the power failure.
• Because of some mechanical failure.
• When the drive is not recognizing the disc while insertion of.

The first thing you can do is to check whether the DVD drive is receiving power. It can be occurring because some wire is detached and hence, the DVD drive is not receiving the power.

Sometimes this error occurs when the DVD you are using or the DVD drive is/are not clean. You should always clean both DVDs and DVDs drive before using them. Remove the DVD and check whether you are inserting it correctly and place it again and now check if it is working or not.
