I was accessing an international website through a proxy server when I got a screen showing code 10061. What can be the reason behind this? What is the exact difference between 10061 and 10060?
Error code 10061 occur when server refused connection with the client.
This is because of unavailability of the services you want to use from the server or if the IP address of the connecting host is changed and is not updated in the ARP table. Usually, 10061 is encountered when working with Microsoft’s ISA 2006 and Forefront TMG 2010 server. Refreshing the page is a primary option to try connecting the page again. Check your firewall settings. Also, the reason for the occurrence of 10061 can be stated based on why the proxy server is used.
Error code 10060 does not refuse the connection, but it occurs when the connection is not established in given time while 10061 refuses the connection.
