The Trusted platform module(TPM) chip version 1.2 is used in Microsoft surface Pro-3 for a save and secure cryptographic processor, which is used in encryption and decryption from plaintext to ciphertext and vice versa.The hardware security is maintained by the random number generator, the hash generator and tha RSA key generator.The remote attestation is an in-built feature which allows the third party verification process.Binding and sealing also plays a key role in arranging the data for an in-order encryption and decryption. Thus, both the hardware and software levels of security in conjunction helps in providing a better protection for Pro 3.
