Tell me how to get word count from XML files

Hello to all here at Techyv.

I have a XML file made in Excel, and I would like to know exactly how to get word count from XML if there is a formula or a software that will help me.

I need this because I am completing some tasks that require me to write a specific amount of words. And it is hard to start counting for each topic written.

So any suggestion would be appreciated guys.

The solution to your question comes in the form of a software namely Word Count Mini

This generates reports apart from counting lines, characters and pages and also support multiple file formats. Once you download the software, you can open the target file from the Word Count Mini interface to generate the results as per your requirement.

Hi Terry

There are many solutions to your problem first there is a formula second you can count the word by copy/paste in Microsoft Word and lastly by using a software.

But i would recommend to use the second and third.

The second choice is by using word as your counting material, copy the words from excel and paste it in word.

The third choice is by downloading Word count mini. It has a great capability to count word, lines, pages, and characters.
