I have a XML file made in Excel, and I would like to know exactly how to get word count from XML if there is a formula or a software that will help me.
I need this because I am completing some tasks that require me to write a specific amount of words. And it is hard to start counting for each topic written.
So any suggestion would be appreciated guys.

There are many solutions to your problem first there is a formula second you can count the word by copy/paste in Microsoft Word and lastly by using a software.
But i would recommend to use the second and third.
The second choice is by using word as your counting material, copy the words from excel and paste it in word.
The third choice is by downloading Word count mini. It has a great capability to count word, lines, pages, and characters.
