Hello,

I just downloaded Telerik Reporting Q1 2013 build 7.0.13.412 Setup and attempted to install the setup but I encountered the following error message. I can’t understand this error message so I need an expert’s advice to resolve this issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Telerik Reporting Q1 2013 build 7.0.13.412 Setup error

The error only means you have a missing component, Microsoft .NET Framework, that you haven’t installed prior to installing Telerik Reporting. That’s why it is always important to find or to know the system specifications of the software you are installing to make sure it’ll run on your computer. Though the program only requires the version 2 of Microsoft .NET Framework, its still best to have the latest version.

To download the latest version, click Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1. Once downloaded, run the installer to install the component. After that, you may now install Telerik Reporting. The latest version of Telerik Reporting supports 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows Server 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.

In case your firewall blocks the bootstrap installer, download and install the MSI Installer. You need to log in to your account before you can download the file.
