Seems you are running Team viewer on windows Vista/7 or 8x

There is a option through which you can run it in as administrator, (right click on installer icon and choose), then you may don’t opt for a fresh install, rather you can select run – if it runs perfectly and you can perform your all work , then later you may think of installing it.

Ensure no anti malware/anti virus or firewall is blocking Team Viewer connection.

Since the problem is with the VPN used by TeamViewer, there is really something wrong with the installation of the program because everything should be included when you install TeamViewer. Try to uninstall the program and install it back but this time, install it using the “Run as administrator” option. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it on your computer.

Once installed, run Revo then select TeamViewer from the list and click “Uninstall.” Follow the normal uninstall process to remove the program. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftovers. When scan is complete, delete all the items found to remove everything the program created on your computer. Restart your computer then download the free version of CCleaner and install it.

Once installed, start CCleaner and clean your system. After this, download the latest TeamViewer for Windows and install it. Right-click on the downloaded setup file and select “Run as administrator.” If you are using a different operating system, select it on the page. See if this works.
