Hey, I am working with VMware and wanted to make data read-only which is writable in Virtual Machine. I found the way was to take the snapshot. How to take VMware workstation snapshot?
Hey there, it is pretty simple. Just navigate to the Snapshot menu on the Workstation Toolbar.
1. Choose VM
2. Click on ‘Snapshot’ > ’Take Snapshot’
3. Provide some name for your snapshot. Ensure it must be unique, different than existing snapshots.
4. Provide a short description of the snapshot, which will be useful to you in future.
5. Click on ‘OK’ and you are done.
