Tackle IP Address Conflict Error In Few Easy Steps.

hey! If you are troubled by this error, then it means that those two systems are by mistake allotted the same IP address. When this happens, it disconnects both the systems from the internet. Here are a few conditions with their solutions:

Method 1:

It might figure itself out, but since you have mentioned that the problem is prevailing from quite a long time, then I don’t think it will make up anytime soon.

Method 2:

There are two types of IP addresses: static and dynamic. Static addresses are manually set up and are constant. While latter changes every time the system restarts. If these IP addresses are dynamic then resetting the router will do the job.

Method 3:

If the IP addresses are static, then you can release the IP addresses from the Command Prompt. You can follow the procedure to do the same:

  • Command Prompt > type ipconfig/release > press enter

You will have a new IP address for your PC.

Hope this helps!
