System Center Error: Restart Selected Failed

Hi experts.

System Center family of management products from Microsoft contains a component named Data Protection Manager (DPM) 2010. It is used for data protection of Windows servers softwares like Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Virtualization and file servers as well as Windows desktops and laptops.

While managing our servers using Data protection manage, the exchange servers shows the problem by showing following error.

 

Error

Restart Selected – Failed.

Cannot restart selected component; see log files for more information

 

This error appears frequently in a week.

I tried but still cant able to dig out the problem behind this error.

Anybody at this forum have any idea about what is the possible cause of the problem ?

System Center Error: Restart Selected Failed

Hello spider

The contact center error you are receiving constantly might be because any of the one reasons either your systematic system center is different than your version of the systematic antivirus or another reason of receiving this message can be because of your not starting up your computer after completing installation of systematic system center. I suggest you to do the following for the resolution disable all the un original and unauthentic antivirus and spyware programs with that ensure the start of your systematic center services and then always log on to your account having proper administrator rights that should not be restricted privileges and rights for usage.
