Synamtec Backup Exec TM 2012 error authenticating

Hi there,

I have this error when I want to install Backup Exec 2012 on a virtual machine and is for the first time when I am dealing with this kind of error. Can anyone help me please to fix this error ?

Synamtec Backup Exec TM 2012 error authenticating

Hello,

Such issue arises because the “systprep” created a System Identification Number (SID) and it is duplicate to the domain controller that the machine was synced.

In order to fix this problem, check the SID using “psgetsid.exe” or other such utility. Now, after determining the SID, you can use “newsid.exe” to create a random SID that won’t match the joint machine. After the domain’s rejoin is finished, run the installation again.

This should give trouble-free scenario.
