Remote Desktop Connection authentication error occurred

Hi there,

This is the error created by Windows Server 2012 RDS when I want to access a pool machine and I have followed all the standard steps and is not helping at all. Can anyone help me please to fix this error ? What I did wrong ?

This could be due to an expired password.

It is the problem of password. You have to change your domain password. It would be mentioned here that the password change option is not enabled [by default]. In IIS Manager and through the application settings section, you can make false to true the parameter ‘Password Change Enabled’.

Follow the URL:

https://<Server Or DNS>/RDWeb/Pages/en-US/password.aspx
 

Though the URL will result in to login.aspx directly, it is important for you that the ‘Password Change Enabled’ will be set as true.
