Hello Friends,

What is the effect of having password software on Windows security? Please explain why Symantec Anti-Virus blocks the asterisk key. I also would like to know the following Messenger Key errors: “No accounts detected” and “No installations detected. ”

Symantec Antivirus is blocking the Asterisk Key Software

Some password software are designed to impose security measures on top of Windows security. Sometimes it could serve an aid in being able to maintain a stronger security against known threats. At times however, conflicts may cause unpredictable errors popping on the screen. Some freeware like Asterisk Key are detected as malware or virus by some utilities like Symantec Anti-virus because they can directly manipulate entries like passwords. 

Whenever messages like "no accounts detected" and "no installations detected" are encountered, there is a high possibility that the messenger program was corrupted. Reinstalling the application solves most of the problem, just be sure to perform a clean un-installation first whenever possible.
