Two graduate school students (product design) at Stanford University have invented the Pax by Ploom, a compact vaporizer and smoking device. Is the fact that the Pax by Ploom is using electricity instead of butane make the pleasure of smoking healthier or make smoking acceptable to non-smokers in a social setting?

However, the user can still get harmful toxins that could slowly deteriorate the health of the individual. This gadget uses electricity and is rechargeable.  Non-smokers won’t have to worry inhaling smoke anymore, this gadget cannot cause health problems to those who do not smoke.
