Subsystem app has encountered and need to be closed.

Spooler subsystem app is related to the print service. It is one of the services provided by Microsoft. The default location of the file is C:\\Windows\\System32.

By default it comes with Microsoft OS. Main function is to manage the print and fax jobs in computers connected over the server. Whenever the print job is requested, it stores the job in the memory and sends it to the printer queue when printer is available over the internet.

Sometimes it gives the error message as shown below

The easy way to trouble shoot the error message is

• Open Control Panel -> Select Hardware and Sound – > Devices and Printers.
• Click on Printers and check how many jobs are active and whether your job is in the queue or not.
• If your job is not there in the queue and you don’t need any other jobs, right click and cancel all other jobs.
• From the task manager, check whether exe is still running. If it is running stop the process and then run the PC with antivirus software installed.

Once the Spooler app process is disabled, it will be unable to print or fax any documents and to view the list of printers connected over the network.
