I have purchased a new laptop which contains Windows 10 and, its bit type is 32 bits. Today I downloaded a zip file of some application and, now I want to unzip or extract it, but I don’t how can I do it. When I’m right-clicking on that zip file, it isn’t showing the option for extracting or unzipping it. Provide the steps to unzip files Windows 7.

Steps To Unzip Files Windows 7

Usually, bulky software and files are present in the form of zip files to reduce their size and, to make them easily sharable and storable. To install them and use them, It is essential to unzip or extract them to their full version. Here are the steps by which you can easily extract or unzip the zipped files.

• Go to that zip file or folder which you want to extract or unzip.
• Right-click on it.
• Select the ‘Open with’ option appearing in the dialog box.
• Click on the ‘Windows Explorer’ option.
• Select the location over where you want to extract the content of that particular file.

For zipping the extracted file, you can follow these steps-

• Go to that zip file or folder which you want to extract or unzip.
• Right-click on it.
• Select the ‘Send to’ option appearing on the dialog box.
• Click on the ‘Compressed folder.’
• You also have to change the name of the created zip file and then press the ‘Enter’ key to save that file.
