Hi. The steps to learninghow to back up my Macare as follows-

1) First, connect the device to the Wi-Fi network

2) Click on settings and then select iCloud

3) Ensure that the iCloud backup option is turned on

4) Then, click on the back up option

5) Click on Backup now option and stay connected to the Wi-Fi network while the backup is being performed

6) Click on settings, iCloud, storage and then manage storage to ensure that the device appears in the backup list with the backup time and size

OR you can also allow iCloud to automatically carry out the backup using-

1) Click on settings, iCloud and backup to ensure that the iCloud backup option is on

2) Connect the device to a power plug

3) Connect the Wi-Fi on the device

4) Ensure that the screen of the device is locked

5) Ensure that there is enough space available on the iCloud for the backup to be completed
