To do a server migration-

  1. Install Windows server migration tool for windows server 2012 r2
  2. Install Windows server migration tool for windows server 2003 r2
  3. Prepare the DHCP source for migration from Windows server 2003
  4. Remove the old DHCP roles from the server 2003
  5. Install the roles in Windows server 2012 r2
  6. Import the DHCP server data to server 2012
