Hi there,

I have this error when I want to play Call of Duty with steam cloud. I never played the game before from another PC and I don’t know why it says so. I have checked the settings and nothing was changed. Help me please to solve this warning ? Why it says that I played from another PC when I didn’t ?

Thank you !

Though it is a warning, I’m not sure if this is a serious error or you can consider it as an error. I think it only wants you to confirm if you have played it before or not because the next step will create a new sync for your session and next time you will be playing it will now sync on that same account or settings.

Just verify if you played it before maybe on other computers and if you are sure that you haven’t, simply click “Play game” so you can start the game. In case you encounter another error, verify that the game is compatible with your computer. The game “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” supports the following operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

Older operating systems like Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Millennium, and or Windows 2000 are all not supported. For the hardware, it requires your processor to be at least Pentium 4 3.2 GHz, AMD Athlon 64 3200+, or much higher. The installed RAM should be at least 1 GB and higher. For the video card, make sure it has 256 MB video RAM in it or higher.

Any video card with lower video RAM might not work. For the soundcard, I’m sure you won’t have a problem because the game supports just any soundcard available. And most importantly, make sure your hard drive has enough free space because the game will consume roughly 12 GB of hard drive space. Most of the time, I just ignore games that consume this amount of free space.
