I just downloaded the splinter cell blacklist from steam. The thing is that it is just not working. Uplay however, shows that the game is running. In reality, the game just won’t start. How to solve the splinter cell blacklist error?
This problem has been reported by many steam users, so it is not super rare or anything. The solution, however, is tentative. The steps given below should work for you though.
You need to navigate to the splinter cell blacklist in your C drive. Find the blacklist_launcher.exe, right-click and select properties. Click on Run as Administrator under the Compatibility tab. Create a shortcut on your desktop. Right-click on the desktop shortcut and go to the properties.
Set the target to “C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist \bin\Blacklist_Launcher d3d11.exe” -uplay_steam_mode. Please include the quotations and click okay. Now try to launch the game from the shortcut icon. The game should start working.
