Sorry, the activation code given cannot register this version of the software

When I tried to convert workbook from excel, multiple dialogue box appears and this error message “Sorry, the activation code given cannot register this version of the software”

Why this is? And how it can be fixed?

Sorry, the activation code given cannot register this version of the software

Hello friend

The registration fails before upgrading to the latest version. You are required to install the latest version. You don't need to uninstall it, you just need to upgrade to the most recent version. You can get the software from Microsoft with available internet connection. Do not use any illegal software as it always contains Trojans and viruses. You can also try to uninstall your software completely and then download the most recent version and install it to your computer.
