Sophos Enterprise Console resolve Alerts and Errors from

Hello experts,

I just installed Sophos Antivirus on my PC with Windows 7 and some viruses were found. The problem is that it seems like I cannot delete the viruses that were found. Can anyone help me please to delete the viruses ? What should I do ?

That was very disappointing. I will discontinue and shift to a different antivirus if the one I’m using can’t clean a virus from my computer. But since it already happened, try downloading Sophos Virus Removal Tool 2.5. It supports Windows XP Service Pack 2 and later. You don’t need to uninstall your existing antivirus before using Sophos Virus Removal Tool.

It works along with your antivirus so that means it will not interfere in the normal operations of the antivirus. Once downloaded, you don’t need to update it like most antivirus programs do to be more effective when scanning for viruses. You only need to have an active internet connection when doing the scanning because the program directly accesses the virus data from the SophosLabs, Sophos’ global network of threat researchers.

With an active internet connection, simply run the tool and it will detect and remove even the latest threats. You may also consider installing Norton Internet Security. It works on Windows XP [Professional or not], Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.
