Hi, all this gadgets are really fun to use.  Just a piece of advice if you want to prolong the battery life of your phone try to turn it off and on everytime you download applications and also close all applications that are not used because it also affects your battery even not in used if it is open.  You can also try some of this turn down the brightness and contrast of your phone, Cell standby 46%, Phone idle 44%Phone idle 44%, Android System 4%, Display 3%, Bluetooth 2%, 45% battery life left.  And also if your not using 3G, wifi mode kindly turn it off aswell..   🙂

There are two versions of this Smartphone: 3G and 4G, and both are discontinued models. Here are the specifications for the 4G model.

The Sony Xperia ion LTE is a 4G Smartphone operating on 2G, 3G, and 4G network bands using GSM, HSPA, and LTE technologies. It was announced to the public on January 2012 and released on June 2012 measuring 133 x 68 x 10.8 millimeters and weighing 144 grams. Unfortunately, this phone has been discontinued. It uses mini-SIM card.

It has LED-backlit LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors at 720 x 1280 pixels screen resolution. It supports multi-touch up to four fingers protected with scratch-resistant glass. It runs on either Android 2.3 Gingerbread or Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgradable to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean powered by Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon S3 chipset, 1.5 GHz Dual-Core Scorpion processor, and Adreno 220 GPU.

It supports microSD expandable up to 32 GB. It runs on 1 GB RAM with 16 GB internal storage. The primary camera supports 12 megapixels with AF and LED flash featuring geo-tagging, touch focus, panorama, and face and smile detection and supports 1080p video recording at 30 fps. The secondary camera supports 1.3 megapixels and 720p video recording at 30 fps.

It has 3.5-millimeter jack featuring active noise cancellation with dedicated mic; Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, and hotspot support; Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and EDR support; GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS support; NFC; stereo FM radio with RDS support; and microUSB 2.0 with USB Host support. It has built-in accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass sensors. The pre-installed web browser supports HTML5 with Adobe Flash support.

It runs on non-removable Li-Ion 1900 mAh battery with standby time up to 400 hours on 2G and 350 hours on 3G. Talk time is up to 10 hours on 2G and 4 hours on 3G. It is available in black and white colors.
