The important part of solving this issue is to know which policy is causing this problem. After installing GPMC, you can see a folder with many useful scripts. The script that we require is DumpGPOInfo.wsf. If you do not have this folder, download it on your own from

After the download and installation is finished, use the file mentioned above to find the name of the GPO causing the error.Cscript DumpGPOInfo.wsf {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}.This will provide you the name of the GPO. Now you can delete the GPO from the Group Policy Management Console. I hope this helps.
