Urgently needed solutions for the error 1706 no valid source could be found for product. My system would shut down every 15 minutes. Can anyone help me solve this?

Click Run in the Start menu and click ok after typing in cmd to get a command prompt. Then type chkdsk e:/r. Here in place of e you need to type the drive letter of your external hard drive that has the error.
