I have been trying to install windows live essentials services, but each time I am getting the error saying Microsoft error code 0x80070643. I have tried restarting my PC but it didn’t work. Need urgent help.

Solution For Microsoft Error Code 0x80070643 Error

Solution-1

To fix this first unusual all the windows live essentials programs and then using a third party registry cleaner, clear all the junk registries. Then do a reinstall.
Solution-2

Go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\IdentityCRL and then take the ownership of the file by going to properties. Now try doing a reinstall. It should work now.

Solution For Microsoft Error Code 0x80070643 Error

You normally receive error code “0x80070643” when you try to install Windows Live Essentials or a particular Windows Live application like Windows Live Messenger. The problem happens because the previous installation or the old installation puts the computer in a state where there is a pending restart. To fix the problem, try restarting the computer then reinstall Windows Live Essentials.

When reinstalling, don’t uninstall the existing version. Just run the installer of Windows Live Essentials to install over the existing installation. On the other hand, if you receive this error when installing Microsoft Security Essentials, download and run the Microsoft Security Essentials Removal Tool to remove any leftover files from your computer.

Also, make sure you have the latest Microsoft .NET Framework installed or the required version of .NET Framework.
