I am trying to start Apache tomcat for Windows 7 PC but it is repeatedly giving the error that windows could not start tomcat on local computer. I need help in fixing this problem.

The problem you are facing mainly arises because of some recent Java update you did. To fix this-
1. In c drive go to program files and then Apache tomcat
2. In that go to tomcat7 and then bin
3. In bin double click on tomcat7w.exe
4. Open the Java tab in the window that appears and then check the box use default
The above steps will fix the problem.
