SolidWorks Convertor 2011 to 2009

Dear Friends,

I am unable to open the 2011 SolidWorks files directly in 2009. Is there any SolidWorks Convertor 2011 to 2009, that will help me. Or is there any process of doing the same within SolidWorks. Please do the needful for getting me the step by step process of doing the same.

Hi,

As an alternate solution to your problem, you can open on another computer with SW 2011 and save those files as Parasolid or IGEs so it would be compatible to SW 2009. Even using PDM won't resolve the issue because exporting other files except drawing is limited.

If you intend to use the SW 2009 for viewing purposes (read only), you can use free tools such as e-drawings viewer.
