I needed an IDE for my work. I was suggested Visual Studio but, I cannot afford to buy its subscription. I found a text about mentioning something like ’Free Visual Studio Express for web’. What is Visual Studio Express for the web and is it legal and safe to use it?

The First edition of Visual Studio Express for the web was launched in 2005 by Microsoft. The software is cannot be more legal than it already is. It is as safe as Microsoft’s any other software.

It is highly useful for those who cannot afford the paid Visual Studio.
