The latest version of android called Lolipop has a 2% share among all android devices. I want to buy new phone but I'm not sure with which version of android should it come. I think it is always a good thing to have the latest software but maybe there is something wrong with it if so low number of people use it. I like new things but when it comes to my phone's system, I always choose stability.

As you mentioned it is always better to have the latest version of software on your devices. Andorid lollipop operating system is released few months back. Even update to lollipop is not provided for all the supported devices. Only update is available only for few models. But eventually all the new smart phone will come with Android lollipop and also all the existing devices which can be upgraded to lollipop will be upgraded. The reason that lollipop has only 2% share is only because it is new to the market.

I will advice if you are planning to buy any android device buy which has the android lollipop. Initially there will be some issues, bugs in this version but Google has enough competent to solve those. There is no such bugs in lollipop yet found which is dangerous. Android lollipop is also a stable version. It’s already there from few months and user experience is not so much bad. The look for the lollipop is fantastic and you will surely like it.
