Hi,

I was using Skype for business purposes since 3 years but recently an error occured “Skype for Business has stopped working”. Need an expert to resolve this error. I expect high hopes from you to get a suitable solution. Thanks everyone.

Skype for Business has stopped working

Some of the users who encountered this error were using Skype for Business on Microsoft Windows 10. I’m not surprised if you will see this error on Windows 10 because the latest Microsoft operating system is still full of bugs and not so many applications support it. This error can happen when Skype for Business is launched for the first time in Windows 10.

When the application is started for the first time, you need to click Accept at the prompt.

Once you click the Accept button, it will result or trigger the error below.

And then after the first error, it will be followed by another error.

When this happens to you when using Skype for Business on Windows 10, one workaround is to launch another application like Microsoft Office Word or Microsoft Office Excel in the Office 2016 Pro suite and click Accept to send away the “First things first” prompt. Succeeding execution of the Skype for Business application should start properly by itself.
