Is buying refurbished PCs a good idea these days? I'm planning to buy a PC with Intel Core 2 Duo clocked at 2.5 GHz with 4GB RAM and a 500GB hard drive. Is it good to invest $360 for this PC? I would be using it for making documents, uploading photos, playing games and watching videos. Any suggestions?

When you buy refurbished PC you have to see the configurations of that PC.On the basis of your instruction that a PC has a good configuration. You can also check that hard drive by using chkdsk. It will tell you if that hard drive has any bad sectors or any error. You can also check the RAM by using task manager. It will show you the speed of RAM. If all are good, then it will be not a bad deal at all. But from my point of view I think $360 is a little bit high.
